Thanks to everyone who attended our Webinar last week featuring NATHPO's Repatriation Advisor, Dr. Timothy McKeown. We had more than 60 attendees and appreciated the productive discussion and chance to not only share our initial take on parts of the new regulations, but also to hear from THPOs and Tribal leaders and staff what their takes were and gather questions they needed answered.
We wanted to follow up on that webinar with not just those folks who participated, but also any THPOs and Tribal representatives and staff who were interested but unable to attend, with a few items.
Second, a copy of the chat from the event, where you can go back and see questions and answers and discussion that happened off-camera is attached to this email.(NEED ATTACHMENT)
Third, please find Tim's slides attached to this email.
Fourth and finally, you can find a document from the United Auburn Indian Community that was shared in the chat as well attached to this email. (NEED ATTACHMENT)
If you have any further questions, comments, or concerns on this subject, please feel free to email Tim directly at repatriation@nathpo.org, or you can email Valerie Grussing (valerie@nathpo.org or Melissa Madrigal (melissa@nathpo.org).
We will continue to keep you apprised as new developments arise.
Thank you again for all that you do.
