The Power of Preservation in Indian Country (Updated)

NATHPO is accepting applications for the Power of Preservation in Indian Country leadership seminar to be offered May 31-June 4, 2015. Application deadline extended through May 11, 2015.

Who, What, Where, and How Much?
Enrollment is open to Tribal Historic Preservation Officers and their staff, tribal museum directors and staff, elected tribal officials, and other tribal employees. Space is limited to only 30 participants and a selection committee will confirm participation on a rolling basis and thus early application is encouraged. Selected participants will be responsible for paying a reduced, non-refundable registration fee of $200 for NATHPO members and $300 for non-members.

The Power of Preservation will take place at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC), a unique retreat center located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The NCTC, which is operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and works closely with the National Park Service, is offering NATHPO the retreat center’s excellent space for our meeting, lodging and meals.
